Cherry, Blueberry, Peach 7 Grain Crumble Pie

Cherry, blueberry, and peaches mingle in a light lemon filling topped with a 7 grain crumble topping and it gives this pie just a little bit of a fruit crisp twist. Organic 7 Grain Flakes are made up of Hard Red Wheat, Oat Groats, Triticale Berries, Rye Berries, Dehulled Barley, Soft White Wheat, Spelt Berries that are blended and flaked to produce a cereal rich in protein and fiber. It gives you a rich whole grain experience. Add to that our, Multi-Grain Pie Crust...and you can't go wrong. Here's our chef's recipe. It's flippin' delicious!

Cherry Peach 7 Grain Crumble Pie

Filling:

Organic Peaches, Frozen, sliced| 2 cups
Organic Blueberries, Frozen, sliced|1 cup
Organic Cherry Pie Filling, sugar-free| 1 can (15 oz)
Cornstarch, Non-GMO| 2 Tbsp.
Lemon Juice| ½ cup

 

Crumb topping:

Organic Grains 7 Grain Flakes| 1 cup
Organic Whole Wheat Pastry Flour|1 cup
Organic Butter, melted| ¾ cup
Organic Coconut Sugar| ½ cup
Cinnamon| 1 ½ tsp.

 

Multi-Grain Pie Shell, prepared| 1

Directions: In a large bowl, combine the lemon juice and cornstarch until smooth. Add the peaches, blueberries and cherry pie filling. In a separate medium bowl, combine the crumb topping ingredients until well blended.  Pour the filling into the prepared crust. 

Spread the crumb topping over the pie. 

 Bake at 375 °F. for 30-35 minutes until golden brown. Allow cooling before serving.
